Industrial action over reforms to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) is taking place at 37 universities from 1 – 3 December 2021.
Ahead of the strikes, Universities UK has published a statement on behalf of employers which explains why reforms are necessary, expresses regret at UCU's plans for industrial action, and clarifies why it is not feasible to agree to their demands.
